Today we sat up

Read her scriptures at 6:40am

When brother Ron and I got there about 10:15am they had her sitting up.  The bed is like a transformer, they can make it into a chair.  (Really cool)  Anyway they have done this with her before, but the last couple of times she was only able to maintain the sitting position for 5 to 10 minutes and then her oxygen level drops and her vital signs spike.  They have to recline her then and up her oxygen concentration to get her vitals to restore.  Today she sat up for about 25 minutes and was able to keep all the readings where we want them.  Small step, but we will take all of those we get.  Oxygen Concentration still 90%.  PEEP still 15.

Last night was the last of the steroid "blasts".  So now, the doctors will determine if they want to keep her on lower dosages for a while.

Other than that everything is status quo.  Keep the prayers up.  This is going to be a long ride.

Much love.

Steve
