Just to let you know a little bit more about what is going on. After the EEG, they did some tests on Patty last night to try to wake her. They could not. The "brain doctor" (that is what he call himself) then did some additional tests after I had gone home that indicate she currently has no tactile or reflexive response. They have since run an MRI hoping to either find the cause or eliminate a number of possible causes to help isolate the problem. I won't go into the possible causes but as she would say they sound "Notso hotso."
The neurologist will review the MRI this morning. Afterward he will discuss it with me, probably this afternoon. Another doctor came in not to long ago to relate they are going to run a graph of her nervous system later today.
On the up side the ventilator is now at 40% saturation and PEEP is 14.
